MICHAEL BRUCE PAINTER Michael Bruce Painter, 73, of Pahrump, Nev., died January 23, 2016. Mike Painter, son of Kenneth and Flossie Painter, loving husband of Janice Schwalbe Painter, died at his home after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, 2 sisters, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He is also survived by 4 grandnephews and 4 grandnieces. Painter graduated from U. of NV at Reno with a degree in Education. Mr. Painter worked for the Dept. of Transportation as an environmental engineer. He retired in 2004 and moved to Pahrump. His hobby was cars. He loved to own them, drive them and repair them. He will be missed by his family and friends. There will be an Open House gathering of family and friends Thursday, February 18th at the Pahrump Moose Lodge, 1100 Second St., from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

So sorry to hear about Mike. We spent some time together when he came to MN for the Reunion in the fall.
