In Memory

Gary McCullum

It is with great sorrow that I'm letting you know that Gary passed away yesterday.

Gary's wife, Christy, called me today to reach out to his classmates to let us all know of his passing. Gary had been suffering extreme depression for some time, and took his own life to end the pain.

I will add further information as it becomes available, including Christy's contact information.

If you wish to send condolences to Christy you may email to anob055@aol.com or text to 612-865-1716.

Thank you Vicky for posting this info on Gary's passing.   Gary was my sweet neigbor and friend beginning in my 8th grade.   We were buddies at the Baldur Park Lane Orono School bus stop.   And what silly fun we all had together fall, very chilly winter mornings and then ccame spring finally. We grew up together over the years.  No doubt his family will miss him terribly as will his many friends and classmates.  My love and heartfelt sympathy goes out to them.    Cheryl Ferch Porter

My strength, comfort prayers love to everyone.God bless his wife. Gary was such a sweet person. I did not know him well , just a "HI"  My heart is really hurting to know it had to come to this. We really don't know what people are going through.  Gary is at peace and no pain now.  R.I.P. my wonderful class mate.

Gary was one of a kind without a doubt. So sorry he suffered. We all know getting more senior is not as golden as we are led to believe.
god bless Gary!!

I miss you my friend. You were there for me when I needed your help. I'm confident you are now at peace.

I miss your laugh, and you had a way with words which is why I called you a silver-tongued devil. And you were great with singing along with records. For some reason I especially remember "Splish Splash". You are gone now, but remembrances are why I'm smiling while I write this. I can see your face and it is smiling. Then there is your sense of humor. I hear you giggling.

You seemed to know just when I needed a hug. You were a good hugger.
