Janet (Lane) Wentz 40+ year resident of Barstow California born and raised in crystal lake and white bear lake Minnesota passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and savior April 30th, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Wentz, parents Bert and Dorothy Lane & Ella Ruth McCarty, brother Raymond Herbig, son Lane Vant. Survived by sisters Sharon Pauley, Carol & Chuck Tindell, Tom & Judy Lane, daughters Leann (Vant) & Wayne Joyce, Mari (Vant) & David Bullington, grandchildren, Crystal (Kevin), Amy(John), Cody (Sam), Kayti, Amber, Malina, Stacey, Steven ,Issaiah & Bella & Carter. Great grandchildren, Emma, Noah, & Colt, Aiden, Aria & baby brother, & nieces, nephews extended family, friends and her very dear Church family at hi desert word church of Barstow.
Jan was an incredibly generous woman, always spunky, hard working, & adventurous woman who loved mining & rock hunting, arts and crafts, sewing, volunteering and the Holy Spirit!
Our family thanks you all for visiting mom and caring for her in so many ways during her long illness. She will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held after social distancing has passed.
